The Challenge of The Business Model
· Can you define the business model that you actually use? Does it play sufficiently to your strengths and would the Board of directors be able to enunciate it? · Can you describe what kind of Company that you want to become? · Will the current business model allow expansion into new markets encompassing products, services or countries and satisfy the expectations of your customers? · What is the size of the gap between what you now do and the Company you want to become – importantly how can it be reduced as rapidly as possible? · Is there a clear picture of the opportunities and risks associated with the new business model – should alternatives be sort? · Is the transition plan in place to ensure that you can move forward quickly maximising the opportunities and minimising the risks?
